If you live in or near the Pioneer
Valley of Western Massachusetts, one of the best places for Contra dancing
is the Guiding Star Grange in Greenfield, Mass.
You'll find a dance there every Friday & Saturday night from 8:00-11:30. No experience is necessary, and you don't need to bring a partner. Admission is currently $8-10.00 per person. You can also try the Munson Library in Amherst, Mass. You'll find a Contradance there on the second, fourth and fifth (in the months were there is one) Saturdays from 8:30-11:30 (Now with some easier dances starting at 8:00.)
